So I want to become an author....

I've been kicking around the idea of writing a book for sometime. However, like many 1st time writers I'm not sure where to start. Does anybody have any suggestions for resources. (books, web pages, etc.) I'll probably post some of my writing ideas as well as a sample chapter or two as things progress. Have a great Monday!

Somehow I managed not to post this back in June, so I figured I'd post it anyways. I've started reading Walton's book, but haven't started the Hacker's challenge book yet.


I did receive 2 books this past Father's Day. I received the first book in the Hacker's Challenge series as well as John Walton's new book: Ancient Near Eastern Thought and the Old Testament: Introducing the Conceptual World of the Hebrew Bible
