Unidentified

My wife recently got Unidentified off of Netflix. I hadn't heard about this film before, but I was presently surprised. This is another movie by Christian filmmaker Rich Christiano. The basic premise of the film is that two reporters are are assigned to investigate opposing sides of recent UFO sightings. Ultimately, the film offers the point of view that these UFO sightings are actually demonic activity, which seems to affect people that have a mind that is open to the paranormal & the occult. As the story unfolds around the two reporters investigating the sightings, one of the them struggles with his Christian identity and commitment. The other reporter is very skeptical and has an antagonistic attitude towards the Christian characters in the the film. Several of the scenes in the film encourage you to think along with the characters about the reality that each of us will die and that we need to choose whether or not we're going to follow Jesus. There is no middle ground. I thoroughly enjoyed this move. I appreciated that it is clean and decent entertainment with a message that encourages the viewer to consider one of life's most important questions. Be sure to check it out. The official web site for the movie can be found here: http://www.unidentifiedthemovie.com/.

There is a lot of excitement brewing around my house this evening as a long awaited movie premieres tomorrow. The movie is none other than the latest big screen release from Big Idea, The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything. My family will be at the first showing in our area tomorrow. Veggie fans should unite and support this latest project from the folks at big idea. Chances are there really isn't much else at the theater your kids should be watching anyway.
